THE EGYPTIAN HALL, MANSION HOUSE

The Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London. The inaugural session of the conference on the evening of 2 June will be held in the Egyptian Hall, which seats 350. The Mansion House was designed by the architect George Dance the Elder and built in a Palladian style between 1739 and 1752.

SWEDENBORG HALL, BLOOMSBURY
Situated in Bloomsbury, Swedenborg House is a Grade II listed building and home of the Swedenborg Society, publisher of the Swedish scientist, philosopher and mystic Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772). The Swedenborg Society will host the main Conference events scheduled for June 3rd and 4th. Swedenborg House has three public meeting rooms, the largest of which is Swedenborg Hall (featured here) which seats up to 120 people. The Society also houses a bookshop, a library and a rare collection of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century artefacts.
